Dear residents,
Considering the nationwide quarantine from 16th of March 00.00 until 30th of March announced by Lithuanian government, the additional measures would be applied in the University dormitories:
- if possible, we urge you to leave the dormitories;
- realizing that due to quarantine foreign students are not able to leave country, we are kindly asking you to write a request if you wish to stay in dormitories during the quarantine period. Request must be send by email dormitory@ktu.lt until 17th of March 00.00. The reason for the stay must be stated in the request (no opportunity to come to your place of residence, work necessity, health reasons, etc.);
- please be informed that the residents, who will violate this order, shall be imposed disciplinary penalties. In addition, residents who will not write a request can be treated as they are not staying at the dormitories, which may cause problems with further access to the dormitory;
- residents who are not staying at the dormitories will be not charged with the accommodation fee for the period from 15th of March until 30th of March (period may be extended because of the further decisions related with the quarantine in the country);
- We would like to remind you, that residents who are returning from the countries of the risk zones must inform Dormitory administration. Risky countries: China, Hong Kong, Iran, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Austria, Denmark, Netherlands, Switzerland, Egypt. The list of countries is constantly updated;
- It is necessary to observe personal hygiene requirements and avoid large gatherings in dormitory common areas.
