Dear residents,
Continuing our Christmas tradition, we announce the dormitory decorating competition!
This year we invite everyone to bring forces and transform your dormitory into a real Christmas ornament – “My Dormitory Like a Christmas ornament”.
To most beautiful decorated dormitories awaits prizes:
- I place – 1000 EUR
- II place – 850 EUR
- III place – 700 EUR
For the winning amount, you will be able to choose inventory for your dormitory leisure, learning or recreation areas (eg, fitness equipment, board games, etc.), or to reconstruct or install new leisure, learning or relaxation areas in agreement with the Dormitory Group.
Competition rules:
- If you want to contribute to the décor process – contact your dormitory chairmen –
- To decorate the dormitory, take a photo and submit it for voting you must by December 14th. 7 p.m.
- Photos has to be submitted to Sandra Rimkevičiūtė, Chairman of the Dormitory Council.
- Voting begins on December 15th after voting has started, you will no longer be able to submit photos.
- Pictures corrected by the certain retouching programs will not be accepted!
How votes will be calculated:
- Facebook likes collected on Dormitory group page will amount 30 % of the final result – On December 15th, in the morning, the photos of all dormitories will be triggered by the Facebook account of the KTU dormitory community. The vote will take place before December 21, 00:00. the votes will be distributed in proportion to the number of residents of the corresponding dormitory.
- KTU administration votes will amount 35%. of the final result – pictures of the decorated dormitories will be presented to the university administration staff who will cast their vote for the dormitory they like most.
- Students’ Representations votes of other universities will amount 35% of the final result – we will share photos of decorated dormitories with Students Representations from other universities, which will cast each dormitory with a specific score.
The winners will be announced on December 22nd of 2017 We announce the competition started and awaiting the results of your fantasy breakthrough!
