Dear residents,
As a tradition, we invite all dormitory residents to participate in the Christmas competition!
This year, we encourage each floor of the dormitory to design its own unique and festive mood — however you find it the most beautiful and cozy. Let your creativity, imagination, and strong team spirit shine!
The residents of the most beautifully decorated dormitory floors will win prizes:
1st place – go-karting experience
2nd place – visit to the Girstutis swimming pool
3rd place – cinema tickets
4th place – visit to the Kaunas Ice Arena
Competition rules:
- Decorate your dormitory floor together with the residents of your floor;
- Take a photo of your decorated floor space and send the photo by email: bendrabuciai@ktusa.lt;
- Photos can be sent until 16.12.2025 00:00;
- Do not use any extra apps that add extra attributes to your photo, be honest.
How the votes will be calculated:
- Facebook likes collected on KTU dormitory community page will amount 40 % of the final result – On December 18th the photos of all dormitories will be uploaded to the Facebook account of the KTU dormitory community. Voting will be open until 00:00, December 21.
- KTU administration votes will amount 30% of the final result – pictures of the decorated dormitories rooms will be presented to the university administration staff who will cast their vote for the rooms they like the most.
- Students Association central office 30% of the final result – we will share photos of decorated dormitories rooms with Students Association central office who will cast their vote for the rooms they like the most.
The winners will be announced on December 23th of 2025.
